Mr. VanBuskirk primarily serves as National Coordinating Counsel for a number of large corporations located throughout the United States and Europe which are involved in the manufacture of pumps, valves and boilers. In this role, Mr. VanBuskirk has taken the lead in orchestrating and administering a "low dose" defense in multiple jurisdictions for many new toxic tort defendants on a National level and has worked closely with numerous Certified Industrial Hygienists and other experts in this regard. In addition, he also defends significant New York and New Jersey toxic tort and general liability matters.

He has been a member of both the State and Federal Bars in New Jersey and New York since 1995 in addition to the United States Court of Federal Claims in the District of Columbia. He completed his undergraduate studies with Honors at the State University of New York College at Cortland and obtained his law degree from the Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center where he received the Special Service Award for his role in creating an Elder Law Clinic to help impoverished elderly residents of Long Island.
