Mr. Slatas is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in the defense of complex civil litigation cases, including mass torts, toxic torts, products liability, medical devices, construction defects/accidents, premises liability, automobile accidents and other general liability claims. He is admitted to practice law before the State Courts of Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Courts of Connecticut and New Jersey. Mr. Slatas has served as local counsel to numerous corporations and has assisted corporations and insurance companies in the defense of thousands of claims. Mr. Slatas has also tried numerous cases to verdict. Mr. Slatas received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in 1988 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1991. Mr. Slatas is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Defense Lawyers' Association. Mr. Slatas will be managing the firm's Connecticut office, including asbestos, products liability, and general tort cases.
