Michael Sarno
Associate
Mr. Sarno is an associate in M&K's Florham Park office. His practice focuses on general and commercial liability, toxic tort and product liability claimsas well as appellate advocacy work. In 2004, Mr. Sarno earned his Juris Doctor from the Villanova University School of Law. During his legal studies, he was a member of the Villanova Law Review, where he served as a Managing Editor. His article, "Employers Who Implement Pre-Employment Tests To Screen Their Applicants, Beware (Or Not?): An Analysis of Lanning v. SEPTA and the Business Necessity Defense as Applied in Third Circuit Employment Discrimination Cases," was published in the Law Review's 2003-04 Journal. He graduated summa cum laude from Villanova and was a member of the Order of the Coif. In 2001, Mr. Sarno received his Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) from The College of New Jersey, specializing in the areas of finance and economics.
Prior to joining M&K, Mr. Sarno served in the litigation department of a major national law firm, after having served as a summer associate for the firm during law school. In addition, Mr. Sarno practiced at his brother’s general practice law firm in New Jersey. He is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey.
