Sarah K. Spencer


Ms. Spencer is an Associate in MK&C’s Syracuse, New York office.
Ms. Spencer received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental Studies from SUNY Buffalo in 2012, and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law in 2016. Ms. Spencer also holds a Master of Professional Studies Degree in Natural Resource Management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. 
While at Syracuse University College of Law, Ms. Spencer served as an Executive Editor for the Syracuse Law Review. Ms. Spencer also completed the advanced coursework in real estate, economics, property, and environmental studies required to earn an Advanced Property Certificate. As a law student, Ms. Spencer worked in the Elder Law Clinic, and served as a Faculty Research Assistant. Ms. Spencer co-authored an article on sidewalk requirements pursuant to zoning regulations and the Americans with Disabilities Act that will be published in the Winter 2016-2017 edition of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Journal.
Ms. Spencer interned for Judge Eugene M. Fahey of the New York State Court of Appeals, as well as the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Spencer worked as a Law Clerk for D.J. and J.A. Cirando, Esqs. in Syracuse, New York. 
Ms. Spencer is licensed to practice law in the State of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
