Timothy Galanaugh
Counsel
Mr. Galanaugh has been engaged in defense litigation for more than thirty years and has been involved in the defense of asbestos claims since the early 1980’s. He is a senior trial attorney associated with the firm’s Philadelphia office and is part of M&K’s national trial team.
Mr. Galanaugh began his legal career as an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia. He defended law enforcement personnel in actions alleging civil rights violations and successfully tried cases to verdict in both the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He has also tried cases to defense verdicts in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. Galanaugh has experience in the defense of medical malpractice, professional liability, construction defect and premises liability claims.
Mr. Galanaugh is admitted to the Pennsylvania (1977) and New Jersey (1986) bars and completed his undergraduate education at St. Joseph’s College in Philadelphia. He graduated from the Oklahoma City University School of Law (JD) in 1977. An avid golfer, he serves on the Board of Education for Good Shepherd Regional School in Collingswood, New Jersey.
