Timothy Gagnon

Of Counsel

Mr. Gagnon serves as of counsel to the firm, is a member of our General Practice group and is based in our Boston office. He maintains a varied estate and corporate practice with emphasis on planning for executives and small business owners including tax planning for individuals and businesses. Prior to joining the firm he was associated with Coleman & Gagnon, P.C., Peabody & Arnold and Adler Pollock & Sheehan Incorporated.

Mr. Gagnon previously practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with the international accounting firm of Grant Thorton and has held finance and accounting positions at various NYSE corporations. In addition, Mr. Gagnon is currently a member of the faculty in the College of Business Administration at Northeastern University. He teaches in the Master in Taxation and undergraduate accounting programs. Prior to joining the Northeastern faculty he was a member of the adjunct faculties of Bentley University, Babson College, LaSalle College, Sacred Heart University and Fairfield University. Mr. Gagnon obtained a J.D. from Boston College Law School. He also holds an M.B.A., a Masters of Science in Finance and a B.S. in Business Administration. In addition to co-authoring guest commentaries on federal tax law issues for the MSCPA's Sum News, the Providence Business News and Banker & Tradesman.

Mr. Gagnon has also served as an editor for the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter Digest and has lectured extensively on estate planning and corporate issues for the National Business Institute, the Massachusetts Public Accountants Association and other educational companies. Mr. Gagnon is a member of the Massachusetts, Boston, Rhode Island and American Bar Associations, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the State Bars of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
