Mr. DeMattheis has a wide range of experience in both defense and plaintiffs' litigation including toxic tort, construction, workers' compensation, and general liability claims. Additionally, he has extensive appellate experience in the Maryland courts where he has briefed and argued issues including interpretation of the workers' compensation statute, statutory employers and premises liability.

Mr. DeMattheis is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York and Maryland. He graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law. In 1994, he received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the study of insurance law. He completed his undergraduate studies at William Paterson University and is a member of the Sussex County and American Bar Associations. Currently, Mr. DeMattheis is handling real estate, land use, municipal court, environmental claims, personal injury, product liability, and general liability matters in New York and New Jersey out of M&K's Sparta, New Jersey office.
