Caitlin Christie
Senior Associate
Ms. Christie is an senior associate in the firm's Florham Park, New Jersey office and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. She handles matters involving product liability, toxic tort, and complex environmental and commercial litigation, including mass torts and multi-jurisdictional litigation. More specifically, she represents both major corporate clients and small businesses in product liability, toxic tort and environmental litigation, including successfully defending asbestos, New Jersey Spill Act, and negligence claims. Ms. Christie is experienced in assisting managing partners in oversight of litigation throughout the country as National Coordinating Counsel for large multi-jurisdictional clients. She is routinely involved in organizing and overseeing associates and staff in large discovery projects, and preparing presentations regarding litigation trends and defense strategies for clients, insurance carriers, and local counsel.
Ms. Christie appreciates the importance of keeping her clients updated regarding their cases and the litigation in a particular jurisdiction as a whole. She is a member of a committee which oversees McGivney & Kluger’s reporting initiative regarding one of the firm’s largest clients and has also been appointed to the firm’s Personnel and Operations Committees. Additionally, Ms. Christie assists the managing partners of the Florham Park office in management of the trial calendar.
In 2007, Ms. Christie received her Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. While attending Fordham, Ms. Christie was a member of the Fordham Environmental Law Review and served as a Research Assistant to Professor Bruce Green. Ms. Christie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Boston College, where she was a member of the Pre-law and Honors programs.
