Carrie E. Kehner


Ms. Kehner is a Partner in McGivney, Kluger & Cook’s Philadelphia office, practicing in the areas of toxic tort and asbestos litigation. She has extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation, representing clients across a variety of sectors, including the asbestos, pharmaceutical, medical device, manufacturing, chemical, and petroleum industries.

Prior to joining MK&C, Ms. Kehner served as National Coordinating Counsel for an international Fortune 500 energy client in the defense of its personal injury litigation. In this role, she was responsible for the development and implementation of national general liability defense strategies, overseeing regional and local counsel nationwide, and providing strategic counsel regarding accident investigations and contract negotiations. Ms. Kehner also served as regional counsel for the client’s toxic tort litigation. She also has significant experience defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in their product liability matters nationwide.

Ms. Kehner received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Purdue University in 1997. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Temple University in 2002, where she was an associate editor of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. Ms. Kehner is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. Ms. Kehner also serves on the board of directors of Supporting Kidds, a nonprofit organization based in Wilmington, Delaware.
