Mr. Beacham is a partner in the firm and heads the New Jersey Transportation department. He has been a Certified Trial Attorney since 1996. 

In 2011, Mr. Beacham was selected by Chartis Insurance Company as a Top Ten Lawyer. Chartis annually honors ten attorneys who provide excellent legal service to both Chartis and their insureds. Attorneys were selected by Chartis’ claims representatives for their support of Chartis and their legal abilities.

Mr. Beacham’s trial experience includes over 50 successful jury verdicts involving medical malpractice, dental malpractice, general liability, products liability, employment, maritime and construction cases. He is a court approved mediator and serves as an arbitrator in Essex and Hudson Counties. He is a member of the New Jersey Defense Association and has lectured on construction defect litigation and insurance issues including uninsured motorists, underinsured motorists, personal injury protection and verbal threshold.

Examples of Mr. Beacham’s successes include a no cause verdict after a maritime trial in Federal Court.  He has also obtained summary judgments for clients in multi-million dollar construction and wrongful death life science claims.  In another case, Mr. Beacham obtained a no cause from the jury and when the judge granted additur, he successfully won the case on appeal. 

Mr. Beacham was the Millburn Township public defender from 1998 to 2004. He currently defends clients in construction, toxic tort, employment and general litigation matters and is actively trying cases throughout New Jersey and New York. Mr. Beacham received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Economics and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 1982 and a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 1985 where he was treasurer of Phi Alpha Delta. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
