Greg Gaines
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Gaines joined the firm in 2011 as our Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the business operations of the firm. He is the lead on firm-wide initiatives involving the implementation of workflow protocols, process and IT systems improvement and internal quality control review and assessment. In addition, Mr. Gaines is responsible for managing claims and litigation involving the firm.
Mr. Gaines has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, with an emphasis on latent bodily injury claims. He has held in-house claim and coverage counsel as well as claim management positions for various domestic insurers. In addition, he has served as a Vice President and the Director of Audit Services for an insurance auditing and consulting firm that provided claim and litigation support services for its commercial insurer clientele.
Mr. Gaines received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 1989 and graduated from New England School of Law in 1993. He is admitted to practice before both the state and federal courts of Massachusetts. Mr. Gaines is a seasoned expert witness possessing substantial experience as to coverage and insurance defense matters involving asbestos bodily injury and other latent claims.
