Ms. Cooper is an associate with the asbestos department in the firm's New York City office where she handles matters involving toxic torts, product liability and complex litigation. Ms. Cooper manages a high-profile account and has been active in coordinating the defense of the client on a local and national level. She is involved in all aspects of litigation including conducting discovery depositions, preparing and defending corporate representatives and experts, and negotiating settlements. Over the past year, she has served as second-chair in over a dozen trials in NYCAL as well as in upstate New York.  Ms. Cooper has been nominated as a New York Super Lawyer Rising Star.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cooper worked on a variety of toxic tort matters including tobacco litigation, as well as other insurance defense and general liability matters in the State Courts of New York. Ms. Cooper also previously served as a legal intern for Justice Roman in the Queens County (New York) Criminal Supreme Court.

Ms. Cooper graduated from C.W. Post, Long Island University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Psychology. In 2006 ,  Ms. Cooper received her Juris Doctor  from St. John's University, School of Law. Ms. Cooper is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York.
